Kyrgyzstan is a hidden gem for landscape photography, with dramatic canyons, turquoise alpine lakes, glacier-fed peaks, and a vibrant nomadic culture that adds depth to every frame. Through this collection of photographs inspired by a 2 week workshop in 2023, I've aimed to capture the wild essence of this Central Asian paradise, spotlighting four must-visit regions: the colorful Mars Canyon and eagle hunters, the Canyon of Forgotten Rivers along Issyk-Kul Lake, the remote Sary Jaz Wilderness, and the high-altitude wonders of Kok Kiya Valley, Kel Suu Lake, and the peaks of Kyzyl Asker (5,842m) and Dankova (5,982m).
